ACQUIRED:

via trade from Winnipeg on January 18, 2024 (negotiating rights). Signed two-year contract with REDBLACKS on January 24, 2024.

2025: Signed one-year extension on January 15, keeping him in Ottawa through 2026.

2024: Faced former team in REDBLACKS debut, completing 20 of 33 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown in 23-19 win vs Winnipeg. Threw for 480 yards in 37-34 win at Edmonton on July 14, recording the fourth-highest single-game total in Ottawa CFL history. Engineered two game-winning drives. Led REDBLACKS to franchise-best seven home wins, and to the playoffs for the first time since 2018. Made first career playoff start on November 2 at Toronto. Finished season 312-464 for 3,959 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 15 games.

2023: Started two games, winning both, setting CFL record for most touchdown passes thrown without an interception (nine). Finished season 62-89 for 983 yards, nine touchdowns, and no interceptions, also rushing 11 times for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Reached Grey Cup.

2022: Entered the home opener in the fourth quarter following an injury to Zach Collaros, engineering a game-winning drive over the REDBLACKS. Scored first career rushing touchdown on July 9 at BC. Threw first career touchdown pass on September 10 vs Saskatchewan. Made first CFL start at BC on October 15, completing 28 of 39 passes for 325 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, also rushing twice for 14 yards. Reached Grey Cup.

2021: Dressed in first CFL game on November 13 vs Montreal. Appeared in final two games of the regular season, completing seven of 14 passes for 49 yards.  Won Grey Cup.

2020: Added to Blue Bombers roster on March 11, 2020. Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

COLLEGE: Appeared in 11 games for College of San Mateo in 2015, completing 104 passes for 1,879 yards and 21 touchdowns. Started 10 games for Hawaii in 2015, throwing for 2,488 yards and 19 touchdowns, leading Rainbow Warriors to first bowl victory in 10 years (Hawaii Bowl), named game’s MVP. Started all 12 games in 2017, completing 254 passes for 2,785 yards and 18 touchdowns. Transferred to Oklahoma State in 2018, redshirting for that season.
