2019: Dedmon made his CFL debut with the Redblacks in 2019, appearing in an injury-shortened season of five games. He recorded four receptions for 58 yards, but came into his own as a kick returner. Dedmon returned five punts for 22 yards, including a 95-yard touchdown, and 16 kicks for 542 yards, with an 111-yard touchdown.

College: Dedmon appeared across four seasons with the William and Mary Tribe (FCS). In 44 games, and 22 starts, he hauled in 151 receptions for 2025 yards, and 20 touchdowns. Dedmon also returned 55 kicks for 1364 yards and a touchdown, to go with 184 punt return yards and one touchdown on 19 attempts.
